Fortune Cooky Restaurant in Glen Burnie

Great people great service. Very sweet people. Was in there to sit down and eat before the pandemic they were awesome and the food was delicious. Took 1 star away because my shrimp lo mein was VERY salty but otherwise it was so good, with big shrimp. Went back for carryout/pickup last month myself & a friend got shrimp fried rice, chicken & broccoli, and egg rolls. Delicious!

1st and last time! We stopped on our way from Frederick to our home near Annapolis on Friday evening. Sat at the bar and ordered a drink as we looked over the menu and ordered food to go. When we got home, there was not a single thing we ordered in the bag that they gave us. What was in the bag looked and smelled so disgusting that we threw it away and put in a frozen pizza... the thing we were trying to avoid in the 1st place. Definitely not as clean as it could be, as well. Will not be going back.

GREAT food and the staff is beyond friendly. Fortune Cooky has been there for so long and there is definitely a reason why. Love the food and the customer appreciation is welcoming! It's one of favorite places to get get a bit to eat and.....you will likely walk out with a "take home" bag....the food portions are hugh! If you haven't been...Go!

The food is real good, 5 stars. They need to update and get a true soda fountain and not have an negative reply when you as a customer complain about the Flat sodas. I know that the server uses cans of soda that has been sitting there or the sodas has expired, step up Fortune Cookie, make good business choices for the customers that adore your food and the prices, your cooks are amazing.

Picked up a order for someone,,but I haven't ate there but the 15 ppl in line said food is excellent..

If a soup kitchen and a Chinese cuisine went out on a date and then had children the outcome would be this food

Food is the absolutely amazing. Price is good and reasonable. Wait staff are courteous and friendly. I am a Chinese restaurant connoisseur, I've experienced probably hundreds of Chinese places across the world and my honest opinion is that I would move next door to Fortune Cookie so I could eat there every couple days. It's that good.

This place is a staple. Definitely worth visiting if you haven't been. Full bar, attentive service and freshly served food. Excellent drunken noodles. It's a bit dated on the decor but the price is right and the food is delicious.

I have been coming here since I was a child and I am now 29. They have the BEST Chinese food in the area. I drive 15 minutes out of the way to come here. They have great prices especially for the lunch and dinner combos. They are friendly and fast. Best bang for your buck. My grandma gets the shrimp egg foo young and she says it has huge shrimp in it and lots of it too. I get the beef lo mein which always has the best ratio of beef to lo mein. They accommodate my shellfish allergy and give me a veggie egg roll with the specials. I also love their sushi. They make me an avocado roll with cucumber and cream cheese. They have a large menu and it is all fantastic! Will always come here!

Best Chinese Food around hands down. If you like steamed dumplings they have the best anywhere. Lo Mein excellent. Delicious and Generously portioned sushi. Friendly, delightful staff. Prompt Service Always. When I Do eat at other Chinese Food Restaurants, they must stand up to the Fortune Cooky Standard. Very few do at all.

Had the Orange Chicken and the Golden California roll. Both excellent choices. Would deff come back again.

My new Favorite Chinese food place. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Today I got the sweet and sour chicken dinner. Me and my son shared it and really thought it was the best. The pieces of chicken were huge and they give you so much. They also put pineapples in the sweet and sour sauce which I love! It came with crab Rangoon which was very good. My husband got general tso chicken and he said that is was very good. Someone else in my family got egg drop soup and he liked it. I won’t go to another Chinese food restaurant after having Fortune Cooky.

Wow!!!! The food here is delicious! The menu is so diverse. Sushi, Chinese, Pad Thai! They have it all. Service is very friendly and relaxed. To top it all off, complimentary sherbet with the fortune cookies when they bring the bill. Be forewarned though, the portion sizes are out of control! Bring a big appetite!

I haven't eaten the food yet but I am sitting here waiting and thought I would start a review. This restaurant was suggested to me and I drove 20 min out of my way to get here for salt and pepper shrimp. As a first time customer I had questions and needed a minute since I have never been here. The lady at the cash register taking the orders was talking on the phone (speaker phone.) She just stared at me expecting me to order in the middle of their conversation. So I had to speak over the lady on the phone. The cash register lady seemed annoyed that I was taking too long. I was so uncomfortable. So far this has been a terrible experience.

Went there with my aunt and uncle. The service was so so. The hibachi was really good. The sushi/sashimi selection was really good. Dessert selection was very good. A lot of the stuff was either overcooked, was sitting out too long so it seemed dried out, was sauced too lightly or all of the above. The environment was very nicely done and warmly inviting.

Really good food. Everything was hot and fresh. Delivery didnt take that long to get here either. Crab ragoons are the best I've ever had. Shrimp fried rice actually had lots of shrimp in it compared to other places. Will be ordering this place again soon.

The people here are very polite and welcoming the food here is hands down the best Chinese food in the state iv'e been here over 10 times and will continue to come as the years pass by in you're nearby and hungry definitely make sure to come sit down and eat here.

So this was totally random stop in. My wife and I on our way to the airport decided to bop in for lunch and I'm so glad we did. The ambiance, the food and the service are all equally enjoyable. Two entrees, complimentary wontons and free sherbert after for less than $25.00. We will definitely be back!!

I had heard good things about Fortune Cooky. I never went until now and I’m so glad I did. Wish I had done it sooner. I feel like it’s hard to find a Chinese food place with consistency. Will it come out good this time too? You never know. Fortune cooky is that place! I went on a Saturday in the early afternoon. I sat down in the restaurant with my little family and we were immediately served these wonton chips pictured. I regret I didn’t take pictures of the food but I swear it was delicious. I had chicken broccoli with white rice. My daughter had orange chicken, wonton soup, and fried rice. My ma had sesame chicken and lo mein. I also ordered a general tsao’s chicken for the table. My broccoli was perfect. It soaked up flavor in the florets and wasn’t super crunchy. My favorite is when the broccoli is softened and has soaked up all the flavor from the sauce. It’s amazing. I will most definitely go back.

I can’t even tell you how long this little place has been around. I remember it from when I was child (I’m currently mid 40’s). Fortune Cookie has earned its long standing in the community. Delicious fresh food, sushi and uncomplicated atmosphere, it’s a friendly place for a great meal.

I have not been here since the Wally World was next door. Took my wife here today for lunch. Service and food were very good. Initial impression of dining area was good until I got a whiff of what me and my wife believe was the old carpet in the dining area. This place isn't bad at all but it definitely isn't amazing as some of the reviews I have read state.

Greatest Chinese that I've had. Amazing!
